What we collect, why, who handles it, and the choices you have.

DRAFT — for legal review. Not yet in force. Items marked in yellow are to be confirmed.

Draft version, 2 October 2026

1. Who is responsible

The KPC platform is a dedicated instance of the SOLVED platform, operated for the YPO Knowledge Pledge Community by SOLVED AB, Sweden company name and registration number to be confirmed. SOLVED is responsible for the personal data processed in the platform (data controller). YPO KPC legal entity to be confirmed runs the KPC community and its admins work with the data described below. Roles between SOLVED and YPO KPC — e.g. joint controllers — to be confirmed

2. What we collect

  • Account: name, email, password (stored encrypted), organisation.
  • About you: whether you are a YPO member, your chapter, primary residence, and business or company.
  • How you engage: the roles you choose and your answers to Alain, the initiatives you support, people you invite.
  • Initiatives: what you tell us about an initiative you bring, and KPC's review of it.
  • Reviews: if KPC invites you to review an initiative, your ratings, votes and comments.
  • Your profile: a profile drafted from public sources, with the sources used, and your edits.
  • Technical and security: login times, IP address for login attempts and consent records, and emails sent to you.

3. Why we use it

  • To run your account and KPC — creating your space, saving your initiative, KPC's review, account emails (to provide the service you asked for).
  • To draft your profile and match you with initiatives — only with your consent, which you give when joining and can withdraw at any time by editing or deleting your profile or account.
  • To keep KPC secure — limiting login attempts and keeping records of consent (legitimate interest).
  • Optional emails — matches, updates and news, which you can switch off in My profile.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

4. AI and public sources

With your consent, Alain uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) with web search to draft your profile from publicly available information about you, such as company pages, press and speaking. The sources are listed in your profile. You can correct or delete any part. No decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made by AI alone; matching suggestions are reviewed by people.

5. Who handles your data

  • KPC admins (YPO KPC) see your account, answers, profile and initiatives to run the community and follow up with you.
  • KPC's review team (people KPC invites to review an initiative) see the initiative you bring — its answers and your name, organisation, role and website, not your email — to help KPC decide. They see each other's ratings and comments; you don't.
  • Service providers working for SOLVED: hosting (Bluehost / Newfold Digital, USA), email delivery (Resend, USA) and AI (Anthropic, USA). Transfers outside the EU/EEA are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to be confirmed per provider.
  • Other members see information about you only where the platform shows it, such as when you support an initiative. Visibility of profiles to other members to be decided when matching launches

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, answers and roles are deleted and your account is anonymised straight away; accepted initiatives remain without your name. Consent records are kept as proof of what was agreed. If you reviewed initiatives, your ratings and comments stay in KPC's internal review record without your name. Backups are overwritten within number of days to be confirmed.

7. Your rights

You can see, correct and delete your data in your space, and download a copy in My profile → Account → Download my data. You can object to or limit how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

KPC uses one necessary cookie to keep you logged in. We use no tracking or advertising cookies, and fonts are served from our own server.

9. Contact

Questions or requests about your data: privacy contact email to be confirmed.
