Terms of use
The agreement for using the KPC platform. Please read it together with our Privacy policy, Confidentiality principles and Governance.
Draft version, 2 October 2026
1. About KPC and this platform
The YPO Knowledge Pledge Community ("KPC") is a community of YPO members and other experienced leaders who put their knowledge to work for impact initiatives. KPC is part of YPO legal entity to be confirmed ("YPO KPC").
The KPC platform is a dedicated instance of the SOLVED platform, run for KPC under KPC's name and brand. It is operated by SOLVED AB, Sweden company name and registration number to be confirmed ("SOLVED", "we", "us"). SOLVED is responsible for the platform and its operation; YPO KPC is responsible for the KPC community, its programme and its decisions.
By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.
2. Who can join
- You must be at least 18 and use KPC in your own name, acting in a personal or professional capacity.
- Give accurate information, and keep it up to date in your space.
- One account per person. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity in your account.
3. What KPC does — and does not do
KPC convenes people, shares knowledge and helps initiatives find the experience and connections they need. KPC does not provide funding, act as an investment intermediary, endorse organisations or projects, carry out formal due diligence, or take responsibility for an initiative's implementation or results. Any agreement you make with another member or initiative is between you and them.
4. Confidentiality and governance
KPC depends on trust. By using the platform you agree to follow KPC's Confidentiality principles and Governance, which form part of these terms. In short: treat what others share in KPC as confidential unless they say otherwise, and use it only for the purpose it was shared.
5. What you share
- You keep ownership of what you contribute: your answers, your initiative, your profile and your messages.
- You allow SOLVED and YPO KPC to store and use that content to run KPC — for example to show it to KPC admins, to people engaging with your initiative, and to match people with initiatives.
- When you bring an initiative, KPC's review team — KPC admins and people KPC invites to review an initiative — reads it, rates it and discusses it before KPC decides. That review is internal: you receive KPC's decision and note, not the ratings or comments.
- If KPC invites you to review an initiative, keep what you read confidential. Your ratings, votes and comments are seen by the review team and KPC admins.
- When an initiative is accepted, KPC may show a short public description of it on the KPC website, as agreed with its owner.
- Only share what you have the right to share.
6. AI in KPC
Alain, KPC's guide, is assisted by AI. With your consent, AI drafts your profile from public sources. Drafts can contain mistakes: please check them, and edit or delete anything at any time. AI output on the platform is a starting point, not professional, legal, financial or investment advice. Matching suggestions are reviewed by people.
7. Fair use
Do not use KPC to break the law, mislead, harass or discriminate; to send unrelated promotion or solicitations; to copy or scrape data about other members; or to try to access accounts or parts of the platform that are not yours.
8. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in My profile → Account. Your profile, answers and roles are removed and your account is anonymised; accepted initiatives remain without your name. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where possible.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep KPC available and secure, but the platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, neither SOLVED nor YPO KPC is liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on content in KPC. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in your space before it applies.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden to be confirmed, with disputes settled by the courts of Sweden, unless the law of your country gives you other rights.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms: contact email to be confirmed.
